So what is happening...

Now some already know about me trying to put in a Game Over system that the original Tomb Escape prototype had into Wrapturous Adventure, but now I also want to work on changing how the game and that is the Dialogue and Cutscene system.

See recently I played a newly released video game that featured a Visual Novel style setup when it comes to how the game's story was told in between levels and it really got me thinking that at least in the current builds of the game it might make more sense that most of the games story events between levels are told in this visual novel form along with interacting with fellow slave-girls that way instead of them being in the levels themselves.

The reason for this change basically comes down to the fact that Visual Novels are way less Art Asset heavy compared to the Comic Book style cutscenes and with the game's current funding along with pretty much all the 2D art/animation being done by Tsinji alone, I think taking this visual novel approach to the game's story is more ideal.

Lastly, the reason I am thinking of moving the interactions with the Slave Girls to happen in between levels instead of them happening in the levels is a pretty simple reason. There is no doubt that there will probably gonna be some slave girls all over the levels to help bring life to the game, but be best to avoid players getting confused about which slave girls in the game the player needs to interact with the ones you can't.

Anyway, my current challenge right now is working on this visual novel setup for the game, along with the kind of style it's gonna be. I bet some will be disappointed with this change from the Comic Book style I was planning, but I hope you all understand my reasons for this. Also, I'm not fully ruling out the Comic Book style entirely (might be exclusive to Opening/Endings).
